Anis' Life – Education ------- Anis was born on July 11, 1984, weighing 5 kg at the former Jeetoo Government Hospital. From the very beginning, he was full of vitality and life. A highly intelligent boy, he often complained that he wasn’t learning anything at school. I still remember the day he came home early, having skipped school. To my surprise, I had to take him back myself. He argued that he went to school for nothing. Later, we discovered that he had been avoiding school for several days. Despite these early school struggles, Anis excelled in his studies. He passed his CPE exams successfully, ranking 49th in the country and placing among the top 100 students in Mauritius.
